Situated on prime land in the Dinokeng free roaming Big 5 game reserve, De Kleine Serengeti Game Lodge borders the Pienaars River on the one side and the tar road to Rust de Winter dam on the other. Only 45km north of Pretoria, bordering the N1, the area is malaria free.
The Lodge offers 10 luxury, self-catering, open-plan chalets from where Eland, Buffalo, Kudu, Ostrich, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest and many more game and birds species can be viewed. Game drives are available for those in search of the more elusive animals such as leopard, lion and cheetah. Self-drive is also available.
Self-Catering Chalets:
De Kleine Serengeti offers ten luxury, self-catering, open-plan chalets, which are fully furnished with air-conditioning, fan and heater. Each fully equipped, self-catering, open plan chalet, has its own private bathroom with a shower, washbasin and toilet. Unfortunately no baths in our bathrooms. Enjoy a braai/barbeque on your own private patio. All the self-catering chalets have air conditioning and a TV with Mnet, movie and sport channels.
Family House:
De Kleine Serengeti Family House has 5 comfortable rooms that can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests per room. Each room is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower. Each room has air-conditioning, a fan, a heater, bar fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. This self catering chalet has a fully equipped kitchen with a wonderful view towards the dam and its own private patio with braai/barbeque. Unfortunately there are no TV’s in these rooms.
Conference Room:
We have a lovely air-conditioned conference room in boardroom style that can accommodate maximum 14 delegates with television, white board and flipchart.
We are also able to assist with your catering needs.
Swimming Pool:
Take a dip in our outdoor swimming pool which provides an amazing view. The swimming pool is open all year long, free of charge for all residential guests.
Game Drives:
De Kleine Serengeti not only offers our guests luxury accommodation, but we pride ourselves in presenting wildlife interaction that is sure to be the highlight of your stay. Coupled with the African horizon and spectacular skies, we offer game drives through the reserve for an experience of a lifetime.
Our game viewing drives are available throughout the day, pre-bookings essential. Drives take about 2 hours with snacks and beverages supplied. You’ll be guided by our certified game ranger who’ll take you and your party through the reserve, encountering many animals along the way.

Restaurant:
Enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch at De Kleine Serengeti Game Lodge Garden Restaurant open from Monday till Sunday, from 8h00 until 15h00.
